Reading your five markers
Your Balanx report distils a biometric scan into five markers. Here's how to read them.
Texture
A measure of surface smoothness. Lower scores usually respond well to gentle resurfacing and consistent barrier support.
Tone
An assessment of evenness across the face. It's the marker most sensitive to sun exposure.
Pigmentation
Concentrations of melanin activity. Small changes here take longest — think months, not weeks.
Hydration
Water content in the outer skin. Fastest marker to move; you'll often see it climb after just a few days of consistent use.
Condition
An overall wellbeing signal combining barrier integrity and inflammation cues.
